Published March 2018

This year the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show was OUTSTANDING! There was a real buzz around the 5 day show, this festival of gardening and flowers is a place to grab inspiration, learn about new products and fill your head with everything growing, green and floral.

If you’ve never been to the biggest garden show in the southern hemisphere, then make sure you pop the 2019 dates in your diary, so you don’t miss out.

The Show was a feast for all five senses, with visually stunning Show Gardens designed by the best national and international landscaping talent, the scent of thousands of blooms perfuming the Great Hall of Flowers, delicious morsels at the sold out High Tea, hands on workshops for those wanting to test their skills and dedicated sensory zones scattered throughout the show.

This year we teamed up with the crew from IMG Productions to create a 30 minute TV Show called “The Garden Show” which aired on the Friday during the show on 7TWO. Scroll down from for some behind the scenes photos from our fun and busy 3 days of filming!

If you missed the show, you can watch most of the segments here

Some of our favourite gardens were the smaller “Achieveable Gardens” created by landscape design students, who may just be the stars of the future!

If you come along to the show make sure you check out this section of the display gardens for loads of take-home inspirational ideas.
